As a landscape designer, I find few roles as rewarding as strengthening the connection between people and place using the universal languages of landscape and art. I studied Landscape Architecture with the goal of learning how to integrate the natural world with the realities and needs of a modern society. Prior to my current career in residential and commercial landscape design, I worked with local community treasures Native Seeds/SEARCH and Trees for Tucson, promoting the value of native landscapes for everything from community building to food sourcing. For nearly a decade I’ve studied and educated others on the benefits of an integrated, environmentally appropriate landscape on every scale, and each of my designs is infused with that passion. My favorite part of working with clients is introducing and educating new Tucsonans about the beauty of their new desert home, which is so often wildly different than what they are used to. I love the work of a Landscape Designer!
